St. Peter's Church, San Francisco

The part of the mural facing Florida Street featured religious and political
figures that have historically fought for the rights of the downtrodden.

The portion of the mural on 24th Street illustrated the struggles of Mayans
and Mexican Indians.

A detail of the Mural showing an abstract bird over faces of people who appear
angry, frustrated, and defiant.

A winged Indian with a knife in one hand and a spear in the other towered over
marching Spanish conquistadors in the bottom right of the image.

The wall over a stairwell on 24th Street showed soldiers marching from the future
into the past. The word, "Junzt," was not part of the mural.

The sign over the entrance to St. Peter's Church on 24th Street showed an unshackled
woman surrounding by unshackled hands and blowing gloriously through a large conch shell.

The walls either side of the Church entrance showed rich crops based on deep roots, ironically fertilized
by the bodies of the fallen.
